What TV Rotation does
TV Rotation keeps a lightweight list of shows you’re watching, tracks your current Season and Episode, and sorts the list so the oldest watched shows rise to the top. The goal is to make “what should we watch next?” feel effortless.
Rotation basics
- Add shows from the “Add Shows” tab using search and suggestions.
- Watched just now updates “last watched” and advances the episode.
- Season/Episode steppers let you correct progress anytime.
- Sorting defaults to “oldest watched first” so neglected shows float up.
- Hide removes a show from view without deleting it.
- Remove deletes it from your rotation (with confirmation).
The “Age” bar
The bar under each show shifts from blue → red over a 30‑day span. Red means it’s been a long time since you last watched that show.
Ended vs Running
Status badges help you quickly see whether a show is still airing:
For ended shows, TV Rotation can constrain season/episode ranges by fetching season/episode counts from TVMaze.
Streaming service field
Each tracked show can store where you watch it (Netflix, Apple TV, etc.) so you don’t have to remember. Some guesses are auto-mapped from production network when possible, but you can always override it.
