Privacy Basics

Local Storage-Open the developer tools on your browser and find the Application tab, then click on Local storage, and expand. See the data we store, that's on your machine only (or in the cloud if you export it). That's a local WebDB storage vault.
Server Logs-There are logs of your accessing the page when it downloads to your device. That's it.
Export/Import-This is where you decide to make a backup of your local db, in json format. You control the security of that file. Own it.
Analytics Sharing-If you feel generous and comfortable, enable this option and let your history go to our servers. We only collect anonymized data. We do not correlate with you, your IP address, your browser UID, nada! Literaly, nothing. We don't want to know it's you watching Lionness. Paramount doesn't want to know that either, they just want to know when you watch it, when you skip it, and if you finish it or not.
ChatGPT/Gemma/Grok-Yeah, we used those AI services to make this tiny page app. They all contributed, so enjoy the labor of their efforts. We just had the idea because we actually use this at home and got tired of keeping the list in a text file. That was lame.
Selling Data-Yeah, if you opt in to share your data with us, we will aggregate it and sell it to the highest payor who wants to know about viewership for the shows that are being watched. We don't link back to you.

This service has no warranty, not guarantees, and we offer no indemnifications. Use it at your own peril, without any fee from us. You will usage charges from your internet service provider if you are paying for such, but we are not collecting any money for this service. Enjoy it. love it. Backups

Your data lives in your browser storage on this device. If you clear browser data or switch devices, you’ll lose it unless you back it up.

Export

Use Export to download a JSON backup. On phones/tablets, your OS typically offers iCloud/Drive/OneDrive destinations automatically.

Import

Use Import to load a previous backup. The app supports older backups too.

Nag bar

If you haven’t exported a backup in 45 days, a reminder appears under the header. This is not from our servers, it is just a function of doing simple date match in your browser using javascript.

Dismissing the reminder hides it for about a week.

Privacy

The Privacy link explains what data is stored locally and what (if anything) is shared. If analytics sharing is enabled, the app sends anonymous events to the configured Beyond Ordinary endpoint.

Does this need an account?

No. It’s local-first. Optional analytics sharing is opt-in.

Why did my list reset?

Clearing browser data removes local storage. Export regularly, especially before OS updates or device swaps.

How do I share with my spouse?

Export a backup and import it on the other device.
